Shop IH Loadstar Parts for 2-Ton Trucks & Buses International offered 1962 to 1979 Loadstar 1600 trucks in both 4x2 and factory 4x4 versions. The US military, particularly the Air Force was a major user of the 4x4 versions, but many civilian trucks were also built in regular cab, crew cab, and cowl-chassis models. The 4x4 Loadstars have Dana 70 Closed Knuckle Front Axles, Rockwell T-223 two speed transfer cases and International Rear Axles. Transmissions included New Process NP435 4 speed and International 5 speed manual transmissions.
