About
Poplin fabric at TradeUNO — fine cotton poplin at 58 inches (1.47 m), from around Rs. 264 to Rs. 273 a metre. Poplin is a tightly woven plain cloth with a fine crosswise rib, which is what gives it a crisp hand and a smooth, almost polished face. It presses sharply and holds a collar and cuff better than softer cottons — the reason it is the default shirting fabric worldwide. At 58 inches it is one of the most economical widths in the catalogue for shirt production: two shirt fronts cut side by side with minimal wastage. Manufacturing units, uniform suppliers and boutiques order here in bulk, with wholesale pricing and dispatch across India, the USA and Dubai/UAE.
