Ford's Ranger is the most sought-after 4x4 pickup truck in Australia. Its previous generations, the PX1 (released in 2011), PX2 (released in 2014), and PX3 (released in 2018), were all well-received by customers for setting standards in towing capacity and comfort. Alongside the standard Ranger, Ford also offers the Everest, a rugged body-on-frame Ranger wagon that shares similarities with the truck's four-wheel drive versions. The Everest, introduced in 2015, continues to be a popular choice. The latest iteration of the Ford Ranger, the Next-Gen Ranger, was launched in late 2021 and comes in a range of variants. It offers the choice of a six-cylinder petrol engine and both a four- and six-cylinder diesel engine. The body has been overhauled for a more modern appearance and there are numerous new features added to the vehicle.
