Toyota Noah, Voxy and Esquire 4WD from Japan The Toyota Noah Voxy Esquire 4WD is the all-wheel-drive version of the family minivan Toyota never sold new in Australia. Seven or eight seats, sliding doors on both sides, a low floor that children and older passengers can step into without climbing, and the traction to handle a wet gravel road or a snow trip. Why the 4WD Cars Are All Petrol This is the point most buyers miss. The 1.8 hybrid version of this vehicle, the ZWR80, is front-wheel drive only — Toyota never built it with all-wheel drive. If you want a Toyota Noah Voxy Esquire 4WD, you are looking at the ZRR85W, which uses the 2.0-litre 3ZR-FAE petrol engine with a CVT and a mechanical all-wheel-drive system. It is thirstier than the hybrid, around 9 to 10 L/100 km in ordinary Australian driving against roughly 5 to 6 for the front-drive hybrid, and that is the trade you are making for traction. Upper grades add dual power sliding doors, push-button start, rear air conditioning and dual-zone climate control, though fitment varies by grade and year, so read the individual listing rather than the range.
