About
Nudge Bars for Utes & 4WDs A nudge bar adds a front-mounted accessory bar to selected utes, vans and 4WDs without replacing the complete factory bumper. UniUte’s current range includes vehicle-specific options for selected Mitsubishi Delica D5 and Nissan Navara NP300 models. Fitment varies significantly between vehicles, so always check the individual product page for model years, mounting requirements and compatibility before ordering. What Does a Nudge Bar Do? A nudge bar can provide an additional physical barrier in front of parts of the bumper and grille and can also provide mounting points for compatible accessories on selected designs. It should not be treated as equivalent to a full bull bar or assumed to provide protection in a major collision or animal strike. Vehicle-Specific Fitment Nudge bars are not universal. Mounting points, bumper shape, sensors, cameras and driver-assistance systems vary between vehicle generations. The current UniUte range includes selected fitments for the Mitsubishi Delica D5 and Nissan Navara NP300. Availability changes as products are added or discontinued, so use the product listing as the final fitment reference. Sensors, Cameras & Safety Systems Do not assume a nudge bar is compatible with every parking sensor, radar unit, camera or safety system fitted to a vehicle. Compatibility should be confirmed for the exact product and vehicle combination before installation. Nudge Bar vs Bull Bar A nudge bar is generally a smaller front accessory, while a bull bar replaces or covers a much larger part of the front bumper assembly. For a detailed comparison, read our Nudge Bar vs Bull Bar Guide . Other Vehicle Protection Depending on how you use your vehicle, you may also want to compare bash skid plates for underbody protection, fender flares for wheel-arch coverage and side steps for easier access and lower-body protection.
