Originally released in 2010 – the same year Up There was founded! – the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 was a bit of a revolution in its day. The super soft Cushlon midsole debuted a split Zoom Air cushioning system that sectioned the forefoot and heel off from one-another. One of the most distinctive features of the model was the TPU cage along the midfoot and matching heel counter with distinctive diamond pattern ventilation. Almost a decade later, the Zoom Vomero 5 came back with a bang thanks to designer Samuel Ross and his label A-COLD-WALL*. A whole generation of fashion lovers immediately became fans, drawn to the exoskeleton and 2000s mesh uppers. Nike treats the model to a bring-back after that fame a few years later by dropping some fresh new colours.
