How Does Kuumba Stack Up Bamboo-splint core, compressed scented wood powder: Each Regular stick is built on a machine-cut bamboo splint coated in compressed, oil-scented wood powder rather than a dipped paper core, giving a clean, even burn and a consistent throw of fragrance along the full length. Low combustion-agent formulation: Kuumba uses natural oils and essences with minimal combustion agents, so it produces less carbon and a softer, less acrid smoke than mass-market joss sticks. That makes it better suited to enclosed UK flats and well-sealed modern rooms. Specified burn time and length: The Regular format runs to 27.5cm with a 60 minute burn time and 15 sticks per pack, for a predictable, repeatable session. Mini formats are available for shorter burns and smaller spaces.
