About
All of our domestic wire rope slings are made with quality Crosby® hardware. Choose wire rope slings by diameter based on capacity ratings. Then shop by length. Domestic triple leg wire rope slings have three equal lengths of wire rope connected with a single oblong master link at the top for a design that provides excellent balance and improved load control. Also called 3 leg bridle wire rope slings, these domestic 3 leg cable slings are fitted with Crosby® alloy eye hooks on each end, but they can be customized with different hooks or other hardware as requested. The looped eyes that connect the lengths to the master oblong have thimbles at the point of contact to provide protection against wear on the rope, thereby extending the life of the sling. The rated capacities of domestic 3 leg wire rope slings will vary based on the pull angle/direction. The type of wire rope used will also create a variation in capacities and uses. We offer 3 leg wire rope slings in either a 6x19 EIPS wire rope or a 6x36 EIPS wire rope, depending on the diameter of the wire rope. An Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC) resists crushing, making it an excellent choice for a variety of lift applications. All of our domestic three leg wire rope slings feature a Flemish eye spliced with a carbon steel sleeve, for superior strength and rugged durability. How to Calculate the Length of a Wire Rope Sling When measuring a domestic wire rope sling with multiple legs, do not include the oblong master - instead, measure the length of the sling leg to the loadbearing point of the hook or eye. Our domestic 3 leg wire slings can also be customized to any length you need. Give our sales team a call for more
