About
M&W Shipping Container Lifting Devices Our container lifting lugs are a robust solution for your cargo handling needs. They are designed to work with containers featuring a bottom lifting slot - whether it's a standard container or a specialized cargo unit - making them incredibly versatile. Types of Container Rigging Lugs We offer three styles of lifting lugs - straight, left, and right. To lift a standard container, you'll need four lugs. Straight lifting lugs are generally used in conjunction with lifting beams or spreader bars . They are positioned parallel to the sides of the container. Left and right lift lugs are typically used with a sling-based lifting system where the lug can't be at a 90 degree angle to the bottom of the container. Due to the specialized design, you'll need two of each lug (for a total of four).
