Durability and Construction Constructed from Extra Improved Plowed Steel (EIPS) with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), our 3 leg wire rope slings offer better durability than a nylon bridle sling and are more economical than a multi-leg chain sling . The bright steel finish includes a lubricant coating for basic corrosion-resistance, and the IWRC is resistant to crushing, ensuring a robust performance, even under demanding conditions. For slings with a diameter of 1" or less, you will generally receive a 6x19 wire rope configuration, while larger diameters standardly feature a 6x36 configuration. Features Flemish Eye Splicing: Each leg has Flemish eyes, ensuring secure and reliable connections. They are fitted with protective thimbles at the point of contact to reduce wear on the rope and extend the life of the sling.
