Citronella oil is an essential oil that’s made from the distillation of the Asian grass plant in the Cymbopogon genus. Perfect for keeping away bugs like mosquitoes. This fragrant grass got its name from the French word meaning “lemon balm,” due to its floral, citrus-like aroma. Citronella oil is probably best known as a natural insect repellant however it can also be used in aromatherapy to lift mood and fight fatigue. These wax melts, exfoliating soap sponges and more repel mosquitoes and other flying insects whilst releasing a soothing, irresistible scent.
