Alfred Meakin china Tunstall, was produced over a long period from 1875 up to 1976 when it merged with Myott to form Myott-Meakin as part of the Churchill group. They produced ironstone china for the domestic markets and North America, South America and the Colonies. J & G Meakin china, Hanley produced from 1851 up to 1970, 21 brands included sol ware, jacobean ware and Royal Staffordshire
