Foley was a small district close to Longton and Fenton. A china works was first establised by Robinson in 1850 Foley china has been produced by 5 manufacturers since and production continued up to 2008 The largest period of production was by Elijah Brain, the EB 1850 lion mark adorns most antique and vintage Foley bone china.
