About
John Alcock started production in 1851 and subsequently became Henry Alcock & Co in 1861 at the Elder potteries in Cobridge Stoke on Trent. Production under the Alcock name continued up to 1935. Soho pottery was also produced in the Elder site from 1918 to 1944
