About
Cooking on gas? Now you’re talking. We love the control a gas hob gives you, from the gentlest, barely-there simmer right up to a fierce and fiery stir fry. It’s this nuanced approach to cooking that makes the gas hob the number one choice in professional kitchens. Happily, you don’t have to be a chef to enjoy the benefits of a gas hob. At We Love Kitchens, we have a superb range of Lamona gas hobs, all ready to fire into action in your kitchen. Four Burner Gas Hobs From Lamona These can bring the power of gas into any domestic kitchen. This smart four burner hob has an attractive stainless steel base and tough black enamel pan supports (which lift off for easy cleaning). The four burners have their own roles to play: there’s the rapid burner for wok work or searing, two semi-rapids for most of your bubbling and shallow frying needs, and a wonderfully subtle simmer burner for keeping stocks and sauces ticking over. The clear dial controls are on one side, so you can stand by your pans. Not connected to the gas mains? That’s not a problem, as the hob comes complete with jets to convert it to LPG. The Lamona Professional model has the same four burners and is also LPG convertible. Here, the pan supports are in traditional cast iron, giving exceptional stability as well as that heritage look. If you prefer a more contemporary look, check out the Lamona Gas On Glass hob , which has a sleek black glass finish. Again, the supports are robust cast iron. Dial It Up To A Five Burner Hob If you have a bit more space on your worktop, have a look at our range of Lamona five burner gas hobs. As well as the four burners mentioned above, the Lamona Professional Five Burner Gas Hob has a powerful wok burner. This super-fierce burner has an outer and an inner ring, which can be used independently or combined to get that stir fry-searing heat. It has cast iron supports, handy front dials, and can be converted to LPG gas if you’re not on the mains. If you love hob cooking but want to
