Radstone Kitchen Taps Radstone is the widest single tap range we stock — twenty-one taps built on two body shapes and offered in six finishes, so you can pick the look first and the mechanics second. Every one is a solid brass body with a ceramic disc cartridge, a quarter-turn action, a swivel spout and a replaceable Neoperl honeycomb aerator, backed by a 5 year manufacturer's guarantee. These are Howdens trade products. Without a trade account you cannot buy them direct, which is why you will not find them on the high street. Choosing a shape Swan neck — the tall curved spout, 386mm high with a 222mm reach. Plenty of clearance for filling a stockpot or a watering can. The classic shape, and the one that suits a traditional or country kitchen. Right angled — a squared architectural profile at 330mm high with a 205mm reach. Choose this one if you have a window sill, blind or wall cupboard close above the sink, where a swan neck would foul on opening. Pull out — the spout head detaches on a hose. The most useful feature a kitchen tap can have if you regularly rinse roasting tins, fill buckets on the floor or wash down a large bowl. Available in brushed brass and brushed stainless steel. Check your water pressure before you order This is the one thing worth two minutes of your time, because it is the commonest reason a tap gets sent back. If you have a combi boiler or a mains-pressure unvented cylinder, anything in this range will work.
