ACME threads carry load and motion — lead screws, presses, valves, and clamps — so their gaging demands a tight, well-defined fit. WESTport builds ACME thread gages for both general-purpose and centralizing forms, in every standard class of fit. ACME Thread Plug Gages check internally threaded parts; classes of fit 2G, 3G, 4G, and centralizing 2C, 3C, 4C. Compliant with ASME B1.5 and B47.1. ACME Thread Set Plug Gages calibrate and set adjustable ACME ring gages, in the same classes of fit. ACME Thread Ring Gages inspect externally threaded parts to the mating class of fit. Every gage is finished by hand and certified in our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory with NIST-traceable documentation.
