Sometimes a lighter wetsuit is all it takes to increase your comfort in the water. For those times, consider a .5mm wetsuit, a 1mm wetsuit, or a 2mm wetsuit. Thin wetsuits give you the protection of a full wetsuit-warmth and shielding you from sun, wind, rash, and abrasion-but without added bulk or weight. The coverage of a thin suit makes it warmer than a springsuit. A 1mm wetsuit or 2mm wetsuit is rated for use between 68 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
