About

Rabbit meat is an integral part of the southern food culture. Wild white tailed rabbits have always been plentiful, available, and delicious. For five generations, on this farm, the animals have been hunted by our family. The meat was eaten as a delicacy, and the hides were tanned and sewn together for blankets, used to line gloves, or utilized in other places for warm insulation. Five generations of our family have harvested this wild bounty from the fence rows and meadows. We chose to begin our pastured rabbit production to share this southern delicacy with our more urban friends. Our rabbits are never treated with artificial growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics. All of our livestock are raised without the use of antibiotics, steroids and added growth hormones.
