Founded in 1972 by Robert Godin in Quebec , Canada. Besides selling under the Godin name, they also have subsidiaries of Seagull Guitars, Simon & PatrickGuitars, Norman Guitars, Art & Lutherie Guitars, La Patrie Guitars, TRIC cases, and various accessories. They currently produce acoustic and electric guitars and basses, but have also built Ukuleles, mandolins, and ouds.
