About
Aberlour is one of Speyside's most celebrated single malt distilleries, producing rich, sherried whiskies from its home in the village of Aberlour on the banks of the River Lour since 1879. The house style is built on double cask maturation — ex-bourbon barrels for structure and sweetness, Oloroso sherry casks for the signature dried fruit, chocolate, and spice. Aberlour A'Bunadh is the flagship — cask strength, non-chill filtered, intensely sherried, released in numbered batches and widely considered one of the best value cask strength single malts in the world. The 12 Year is the approachable entry point; the 16 Year , 18 Year , and limited A'Bunadh Alba add deeper complexity.
