About

Antinori Solaia is one of the world’s most celebrated Super-Tuscans. Launched in 1978 by Marchesi Antinori, this flagship blend — predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon (~75%) with Sangiovese (~20%) and a touch of Cabernet Franc — comes from a 20-hectare northwestern-facing vineyard on the Tignanello estate at 350–400m elevation. Aged 18–20 months in new French oak, Solaia delivers layers of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, and mint with vibrant tannins and a long, structured finish. Built for long-term aging — evolves beautifully over decades.
