German Vazquez Rubio (also known as G.V. Rubio) is a prestigious and talented luthier. He has developed his signature sound throughout his career, which guitarists have come to love. The German approach to selecting materials and construction is organic, yet unorthodox, as he understands how wood ages. As a result of repairing and restoring countless high-end guitars, he has developed designs that are designed to last a lifetime. Slowly, his uncle Manuel taught him how different types of wood react to knife cuts differently. As a result, his construction style has become characterized by precise techniques. German settled in Los Angeles in the early 1970s, and he continues to live there to this day. He began working at Arturo Valdez's Hollywood shop.
