Not every bedroom has a built-in wardrobe, and even those that do often need more. Our range of freestanding wardrobes and armoires provides flexible, self-contained storage solutions that go wherever you need them — from single-door bedroom wardrobes to large multi-panel designs with hanging rails, shelves and drawers. Built-in wardrobes are a feature that adds value to a property, but they're expensive to install and can't move when you do. Freestanding wardrobes offer the same hanging and folded-clothing storage in a piece of furniture that you own outright, can configure to your needs and can take with you if you move. Our wardrobe range starts with single-door designs (typically 80-100cm wide) suited to children's bedrooms, spare rooms or small additions to an existing room with insufficient storage. Double and triple-door designs in the 120-180cm range are the most common for main bedrooms, providing enough hanging space for a significant wardrobe without occupying the full wall. For larger rooms, we stock modular options that can be combined to span an entire wall. Interior configuration varies significantly between models. Basic designs include a full-height hanging rail and one or two shelves. More comprehensive designs separate the space into full-height hanging (for dresses, coats and suits), half-hanging with a double rail (for shirts and jackets), and a drawer section for folded items, underwear and accessories. Consider your actual wardrobe when choosing — a design that perfectly matches your clothing categories will serve you far better than one that leaves large hanging sections empty while you run out of shelf space. Door styles affect both the function and feel of the piece. Hinged doors require clearance in front to swing open — unsuitable for very tight rooms.
