About
The dining table is where households actually spend time together — meals, homework, work-from-home sessions and the occasional board game night. Our range covers round, rectangular and extendable dining tables in timber, glass-top and engineered stone finishes, from 4-seater café sizes to 10-seater family tables. Choosing the right dining table starts with understanding how your household actually uses it. A family that eats together every night needs something different from a couple who mostly dine at the kitchen bench and occasionally host. A work-from-home professional who doubles their dining table as a desk needs different dimensions again. The most common dining table mistake is buying too small. A 4-seater table at 1200mm long feels comfortable when it's just two of you, but add two guests and it's immediately tight. A 1400mm table seats 4 comfortably and can accommodate 6 at a push; 1600mm seats 6 comfortably; 1800-2000mm gives you a generous 6-8-person table with real elbow room. Extendable dining tables solve the occasional-hosting problem without requiring a permanently large table. Round tables work beautifully in square rooms and encourage conversation across the whole table — there's no 'head', which suits a more informal dining culture. Oval tables offer the conversational benefits of round with the seating capacity advantage of rectangular. Timber dining tables — particularly in oak, acrylic-finished pine and American walnut — have been the dominant choice in Australian dining rooms for the past d
