About
Shoe storage is one of the most practical and underserved areas of home organisation. Our range of shoe racks, shoe cabinets and storage benches provides solutions from a simple 2-tier rack for a small entryway through to enclosed multi-door cabinets that hold 30 or more pairs — keeping footwear accessible, organised and out of sight. The hallway and entryway of most Australian homes is where shoe storage problems are most visible — shoes dropped at the door, piled in corners or lined up along the wall in an unofficial system that pleases nobody. Dedicated shoe storage solves this immediately and makes a noticeably positive difference to how the entry of a home feels. Open shoe racks are the simplest and most affordable solution. A 2-3 tier metal or timber rack holds 6-12 pairs of shoes in a compact footprint. They're ideal for smaller households, secondary entry points like a laundry door, or where budget is the primary consideration. The limitation is that shoes are visible, so the rack needs to be kept tidy to avoid looking messy. Enclosed shoe cabinets — with doors that close over the stored footwear — provide the same capacity as an open rack but maintain a tidy appearance regardless of what's stored inside. Slim shoe cabinet designs at 30-35cm depth are specifically sized to fit in narrow hallways without obstructing movement. Shoe bench designs with integrated storage combine seating (for putting shoes on) with storage (for keeping shoes) in a single unit. Benches with lift-up storage are particularly clean-looking — the shoes are completely hidden. Benches with shelving or open cubbies underneath keep shoes accessible while the bench surface serves double duty. Rotating shoe carousels maximise storage within a small floor area, typically storing 8-16 pairs in the footprint of a single tier rack. They're popular in wardrobe systems and sm
