Callibaetis Recognizable by their slender body, the callibaetis flies hatch in the warmer months and can sometimes come in droves. Cruising lake trout gorge themselves on all forms of this mayfly as they hatch throughout the day, so having a variety of patterns and sizes for the fishing season is a must for the US West and beyond.
