A Vision of Distinctive Terroir Belle Glos is the personal vision of fifth-generation winemaker Joseph Wagner , who named the estate in honor of his grandmother, Lorna Belle Glos Wagner (a co-founder of Caymus Vineyards). While many producers blend Pinot Noir from various sites, Belle Glos is dedicated to single-vineyard expressions from California’s premier cool-climate coastal regions. By focusing on specific sites in the Santa Maria Valley, the Santa Lucia Highlands, and the Russian River Valley, Wagner produces Pinot Noirs that are unapologetically bold, highly concentrated, and distinctive. The Signature Style: Boldness & Elegance Belle Glos has redefined the "California Pinot Noir" category. Moving away from the light and earthy styles of the past, Joseph Wagner harvests at peak ripeness to create wines with incredible color, weight, and textural luxury. The Wax Seal: Every bottle is instantly recognizable by its signature hand-dipped wax seal, color-coded to represent the unique vineyard source.
