Terroir & Viticulture Soil & Geography: The 100-hectare vineyard sits on deep Garonne gravel croupes (mounds) over a subsoil of chalk, sand, and clay. Overlooking the Gironde estuary, these well-drained gravel ridges retain daily solar heat while encouraging deep vine rooting and naturally moderating temperature swings.
