Grado Grado is a Brooklyn based company that hand makes headphones and cartridges. Family run since 1953, Grado has seen three generations: Joseph, John, Jonathan and Matthew Grado. The family has kept the tradition of putting sound first. Grado specialises in dynamic open-air, supra-aural, high-fidelity headphones. For over 60-years, Grado has relied on word-of-mouth among audio dealers and consumers instead of mass advertising campaigns to build their reputation and sales. All Grado products are still hand-crafted to this day in Brooklyn, New York.
