Auxiliary Manufacturing (AUX MFG) is the work of Michael Jarvis, a self-taught full time bladesmith based in Reno, USA. Michael's designs are distinct. Rooted in utilitarian purpose with a Japanese-influenced aesthetic. After 15 years in the restaurant industry, from dishwasher to executive chef and general manager, Michael transitioned into making pocket tools and eventually knives, setting up his shop in February 2016 with the support of his wife and never looking back.
