CARBON MASTS Our Carbon Composite Masts feature a progressive mast thickness (20mm at the top reducing to 14.5mm at the bottom) which reduces drag for slightly improved top-end speed, glide and acceleration. Still supremely stiff, these masts have a more lively feel than aluminium, especially through the manoeuvres. The carbon mast is lighter too, with the centre of balance closer to the board due to the tapered section. Our carbon masts have a built-in base plate and are compatible with both AXIS Red and Black fuselages, making them easy to upgrade as your foiling journey progresses. You do not need the AXIS Doodad Fuselage/Mast adapter to use this mast.
