Belt and purse/bag strap needlepoint canvases come in various sizes. To determine your stitching length for belts, measure an existing belt from the tip of the buckle to the most used hole and then subtract 6" from that measurement. For bag straps, the length is personal preference. For belts and straps, please keep in mind that 1.5-2" of your stitched needlepoint on either end will be will be covered by leather.
