Our products are rated as follows: P1 Rating P1 rated respiratory equipment can protect against mechanically generated particles, such as those created by grinding, cutting, sanding, drilling, sawing. Equipment awarded a P1 rating will filter up to 80% of airborne particles. P2 Rating P2 rated products are designed to filter out mechanically and thermally generated particles, as well as biologically active airborne particles such as bacteria or viruses.
