The most beloved river in the PNW is just up the road. We love the Deschutes River! Here are our top collections full of flies that we use on the D! We have both a fantastic trout fishery as well as an excellent summer steelhead fishery. The trout are all wild, native redside rainbows. They fight hard, love a well presented fly and are aggressive. The wild summer steelhead start to arrive as early as July, but late August through October is prime time for swinging into a big steelhead on a floating line.
