The enchanting liquid essence of the Blue Weber Agave was once known as "Mezcal de Tequila" - Mezcal produced in Jalisco near the town of Tequila. Eventually that became shortened to "Tequila" amongst those who preferred its gentle sweet character. Still produced solely in the State of Jalisco around its namesake village, where endless hillside fields of Agave cover the landscape in grey-blue rows.
