The Camille Rose Shine & Smooth collection is built around a curated mix of lightweight, deeply nourishing oils — jojoba, argan, marula, macadamia — that seal the cuticle, smooth out frizz, and add the kind of mirror-finish gloss that makes curls catch the light. Shine isn’t a finishing touch — it’s a sign of cuticle health. When the outer layer of each strand lies flat and reflects light evenly, hair looks glossy and feels smooth. When the cuticle is raised, hair looks dull and feels rough, no matter how moisturized it is. The Camille Rose Shine & Smooth collection focuses on oils that smooth the cuticle without weighing curls down. Jojoba — actually a liquid wax — most closely mimics the scalp’s natural sebum, making it the most balanced oil for daily use across porosity types. Argan, marula, and macadamia are vitamin E-rich oils that protect against UV damage and oxidative stress. Sweet almond, olive, and sunflower oil bring softness and gloss for thicker textures. For an exotic finish, we’ve added monoi (a Polynesian gardenia-infused coconut oil) and oud — both anti-frizz and beautifully fragranced.
