German New Antique is Desag's machine-drawn line, made to closely resemble mouth-blown antique glass at a fraction of the price. Uniform thickness, excellent flatness, and a fine striated surface make it one of the easiest textured glasses to cut cleanly. A practical substitute when a project calls for the antique look but the budget or the sheet count will not support true mouth-blown.
