Copper Blanks This selection includes oxidized antique copper blanks and oxygen and phosphorous free blanks. Oxygen free copper is considered a better choice for enameling over standard copper. The metal is heated and fabricated in an oxygen-free atmosphere to avoid introducing oxygen into the final product. This allows for less oxidation during enamel firing, and therefore less firescale to deal with. All of our copper blanks can be stamped and co-fired with copper metal clay. Oxygen and phosphorous free blanks can also be enameled.
