Fish and Groveler surfboard designs are ideal for waves that are small or have poor shape. Typically ridden by an intermediate to advanced surfer, these boards have extra foam throughout and tend to be wider and thicker which allows for easy wave catching and allows you to maintain speed on those smaller days. These shapes tend to be flatter than a normal shortboard which allows the board to glide into waves easier than a performance shortboard, the shape provides added stability.
