Palm Trees – Tropical Scale, Engineered for Wind and Sun We treat artificial palms as a structural challenge before we treat them as a decorative one. A tall, top-heavy canopy in an exposed location has to withstand wind loads aside from look convincing in a photo. So, every Designer Plants faux palm is wind-rated for open patios, rooftops, and poolside installations. Our range spans Areca, Coconut, Fern, and Fan varieties, in trunk heights running from shorter trees up to 30+ ft, made-to-order installations for resorts and commercial exteriors. RealTex construction gives each frond individually molded color variation instead of a single uniform green, and UVTex inhibitors keep that color intact under prolonged direct sun. Large palm trees are made to order and can be customized.
