At this level you are buying capability for specific, difficult ground: dedicated gold machines like the Minelab GPX 6000 and GPZ 7000, deep-diving detectors, 3D scanners, and flagship all-rounders such as the Manticore and XP Deus II. None of these are beginner machines, and they will not automatically find more than a mid-range detector in an easy park. Where they earn their money is mineralized goldfields, deep water, iron-choked relic sites and any ground that has already beaten your current machine.
