Popularized by flavoring cucumbers into dill pickles, dill leaves are excellent used in soups, salads, fish dishes, cottage cheese, potato salads, sour cream, and scrambled eggs, and so much more. Sow dill seeds in early spring in a sunny spot with warm soil. Cultivate frequently to promote further growth. Once the flowers have gone to seed, the seeds can be harvested and dried.
