Awake NY was originally a side project while Baque worked at Supreme and officially became a full-fledged fashion label in 2012. Angelo Baque was inspired by New York City's culturally-diverse approach to its people, music, and culture, and Awake NY boldly represents this inspiration within each delivery. Each apparel item draws inspiration to the throwback style of the '90s while implementing playful and youthful aesthetics placed on a selection of contemporary graphic pieces.
