A Sea Lord champion knows the ways of both water and warfare. With their share of the ship's treasure—whether that's been won through plunder or trading —they take pride in their gear, reflecting well on their captain, king, and crew. Many Sea Lords will add robust armor like leather lamellar with pauldrons and tassets or a chainmail hauberk. A short cape, either linen or wool, will keep off the chill and the salt spray.
