LTC — Leading Technology Composites LTC manufactures the majority of Hoplite Armor's hard armor plates, including our SAPI, swimmer, side, shoulder, and femoral plate lines across NIJ protection levels IIIA through IV. Construction ranges from UHMWPE (ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) for lightweight rifle-rated plates to boron carbide and alumina ceramic composites for Level IV stopping power. All LTC plates sold on this site are independently tested to NIJ 0101.06 ballistic standards and manufactured in the USA.
