The Baby Pin is a thing of beauty if you ask us. This 5/8” mounting spigot along with its big brother, the 1-1/8” Junior Pin, make the grip and lighting world go round. The standardization of these dimensions, pioneered by our very own Ed Phillips, helped unite the Grip and Lighting departments and allowed gear from different manufacturers to work in unison. Features such as knurled undercuts, safety holes, Posi-V and angled receivers found on our Baby Adapters, Drop Ceiling Scissor Clamps, Magic Fingers, Studded Chain Vice Grips and more are now industry wide innovations brought to the market by Matthews Studio.
