Grenache is a moderate tannin, spicy fruit forward red grape with summer fruit flavours and aromas of raspberry & strawberry characteristic. It can be found on its own in Spain as Garnacha and blended in the Southern Rhône in Châteauneuf-du-Pape & Côtes du Rhône. It is also used in Australia blended with Shiraz and Mourvèdre .
