Lightweight, highly functional kit for everyday and not often seen on these shores, Montbell produce all of their products according to the Japanese tradition of “ki no bi” which translates as “Function is Beauty”. Founded in Osaka by Japanese mountaineer Isamu Tatsuno in 1975, Montbell initially specialised in making sleeping bags and have since developed a huge range of innovative outdoor products. Involved in wide ranging social and conservation projects in their native Japan, Montbell aspire to the outdoors being for everyone.
