The Patagonia story is one that has been told before, and in great detail. They are one of the super powers of the outdoors world. Founded by American rock climber and environmentalist Yvon Chouinard in 1973, they are committed to the environment and sustainable goods (1% of their annual sales goes to environmental groups). Their Synchilla fabric and Nano puff technology have been revolutionary in outerwear and they’ve been rewarded by crossing over into streetwear, the logo which is the skyline of Cerro Fitz Roy in Southern Argentina, is now visible on streets worldwide.
